Off-Site Enforcement Solutions for Overloading
To effectively combat overloading in freight vehicles and minimize road traffic accidents, this solution integrates dynamic weighing with video detection to provide real-time assessments of various vehicles. The system can measure axle weight, gross weight, vehicle type, license plate number, and overload status for vehicles traveling at speeds of 0 to 200 km/h. This offers a reliable basis for off-site enforcement, significantly reducing labor costs and making it ideal for high-speed highways, busy main roads, and road bridges. With broad applicability, the solution takes advantage of high-speed weighing, accuracy, environmental adaptability, and easy installation, ensuring effective, precise, and timely enforcement data across diverse scenarios.
System Components
The system consists of two main parts: the front-end vehicle information collection system and the back-end off-site enforcement management platform.
Workflow
As a vehicle approaches the weighing detection area, laser sensors automatically detect and scan it, providing location and profile information. Simultaneously, the license plate recognition and panoramic cameras capture the vehicle’s license plate and an overall image.
After measurements, all data is sent to the on-site control computer, which assesses whether the vehicle exceeds weight limits based on established standards. This information is then transmitted to the off-site enforcement management platform.
Staff at the monitoring center verify overloaded vehicles using images, license plate data, and vehicle profiles. Once confirmed, they can initiate enforcement actions.
